"Lonely Tree" was written by Acel's former band-mate Paolo Bernaldo. According to Paolo, who wrote it about a lone tree he noticed in the middle of of the fields that cover the campus grounds of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
This video was shot and directed impromptu by Avid Liongoren one early morning after the night's festivities at the 2004 UP Fair. The set was already there and the video had to be shot so early before the clean-up crew came.
This was Acel's last music video shoot with Moonstar88 before she left the band. Unfortunately, this video was never aired on television.
