Acel married Danny van
Ommen in May 2004

Acel eventually graduated Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sto. Tomas in March 2004.

Around this time, Acel, together with friends Hubert and Joanna Cheock from her local church, Victory Christian Fellowship, incorporated LMP Music, an independent record label with a state of the art digital recording studio.

2004 also marked the year she finally decided to take a break from Moonstar88.

The band went through a one month transition period as they recruited Mayshelle Baay to accompany Acel in all of their April gigs.

As Mayshelle stepped up, Acel finally stepped aside from the spotlight as she performed her last gig with Moonstar88 in early May 2004 at an MTV event in the island of Cebu.

On May 15, 2004  Acel married her long time friend Danny van Ommen. Danny is of Dutch-Nepalese decent.

They celebrated the occassion through a lovely private garden wedding ceremony.

Shortly after, Acel took the position of Corporate Secretary. and Head Administration officer and worked on setting up the structure and systems of LMP Music.

Acel also worked as a voice teacher as well as occasionally a vocal talent for “Sound Design”, providing her vocal services to record TV and Radio commercials.

Its now simply "Acel"
With no more late night gigging and more time at home with her husband, Acel as always, would still continue writing songs. Within a year she had available a collection of over 30 songs up her sleeve.

In January 2006, Acel resigned from her position of Administration Officer to become an official artist solo artist of LMP Music allowing her to invest the majority of her time in arranging and recording her new songs.

Together with the talents of the gifted Ronnie Ropal as arranger, Sandy Baliong plays drums, Mel de Leon plays bass, Nathan Fadera plays electric guitar, and JM Besana plays keyboards.

For much 2006, Acel has spent long hours with LMP staff in recording, mixing, and arranging her songs such as "Tracy",  "Stars" , "Tomorrow", "Pakiusap", and "Laugh and Cry". They aim to have 14 tracks ready within the year.

The story of “Silver Lining”, Acels upcoming debut album as a solo artist has just opened and has yet to unfold.
